Our client, one of the largest garage operations in Kenya, is seeking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing repair orders from both existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

• Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an annual marketing plan aligned with the organization’s goals and budget.
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with both current and prospective clients.
Maintain and manage an up-to-date database of insurance agents and track activity trends.
Collaborate with existing marketers and the Managing Director to strengthen the marketing function.
Regularly engage with customers via visits, emails, and phone calls to acquire new business and retain existing clients.
Prepare periodic marketing performance reports and present them during sales review meetings.
Ensure the timely submission of tenders and prequalification documents.

• Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. marketing or related).
At least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the automotive or related industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Offer:

Retainer: KSh 35,000 per month.
Competitive commission structure based on sales performance.
Autonomy to drive initiatives and manage client relationships.
