We are currently seeking a qualified Logistics Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient transportation of Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC). As a Logistics Officer, she/he will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of materials and products, optimizing delivery schedules, and managing vehicle fleets. He/she must have experience in mechanics.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage logistics operations end to end.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete in various locations.
• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of company vehicles and equipment.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols in all logistics operations.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics operations and in the construction industry is a must.
• Strong understanding of logistics principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have mechanical experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary: Kshs.36,000/=
